KarmaFest coming to Hudson Fields July 30-31

KarmaFest Summer Sun Fest, a holistic, psychic and yoga festival, will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 30 and 31, at Hudson Fields near Milton. 

KarmaFest provides the holistic community and the increasing number of people who are interested in holistic healing practices a safe place to come together to learn, grow and celebrate.

A $10 day pass will give access to hundreds of vendors, yoga, music, food and holistic workshops. Primitive tent camping is also available for $60 per person per night.

KarmaFest is just one of many events conducted by Soul Purpose Productions, a company focused on promoting and producing various holistic-related products and services. For over 15 years, more than 45 KarmaFest events have taken place in various states and locations on the East Coast.

Milton resident Patricia Hawse founded KarmaFest in 2005 while serving with the Red Cross in Louisiana for Hurricane Katrina relief. Prior to that time, Hawse admits she was a bit skeptical about holistic medicine, but under the stressful, negative circumstances in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Hawse experienced firsthand the benefits of holistic health when yoga and meditation were offered to relief workers at the Red Cross volunteer shelter. After seeing the immediate, positive effects of such natural, simple ways to relieve tension, and increase energy and balance, Hawse wanted to spread the word about the benefit of holistic practices. She came up with the idea of a festival and KarmaFest was born.

As a yoga instructor, reiki master, an adept with the Modern Mystery School, an ordained minister, and an inductee into the Swami Order, as well as a spiritual author and influencer, Hawse enjoys helping folks navigate their spiritual path and all a holistic lifestyle can offer through KarmaFest, retreats, classes and events.
