LYC swim team shoots down Wild Quail

The Lewes Yacht Club swim team swam past the Wild Quail Krakens swim team 2,255 to 1,564 June 23 in Lewes.
Each age group contributed to the win over the Dover-based squad.
“I thought the meet went really well, and it was so much fun to see how our swimmers improved from last year,” said LYC coach Fiona Pando. “They have been working very hard, and it definitely paid off.”
The LYC squad started its season with a June 20 loss to Ocean Pines, Md.
