Delaware State alums to host fish fry and car show July 16

The Delaware State University Alumni Association Inc. Sussex County Chapter will host its annual fish fry fundraiser event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or until sold out, Saturday, July 16, at Dickerson Chapel AME Church, 28455 Dupont Blvd., Milford. Fish sandwiches will sell for $11, or with an added bag of chips and a drink for $13.

A car show has been added to this year's fundraiser. The entry fee is $20 per vehicle, with preregistration due by Friday, July 15. Checks payable to DSU Sussex County Alumni Association may be mailed to Bernard W. Carr, PO Box 3, Bridgeville, DE 19933.

Onsite registration and car lineup begins at 8 a.m. Top awards will be announced at 1 p.m. Sponsorships are available at $100 or more. Donations are appreciated to help benefit the student scholarship fund. The DSUAA Inc. Sussex County Chapter is open to all DSU graduates and alumni.
