Kris Robert Brown, cherished family, friends

Kris Robert Brown, aka The Miracle Man, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2022. Kris was a dear brother and even dearer friend. Leukemia took Kris away after several years of failing health.

He was born in West Chester, Pa., May 15, 1964. Though he wasn't born in Sussex County, he was a local through and through. Kris was a master carpenter. More so, he was a master friend. If he called you "Friend,” you were that for life. He loved music, playing his harmonica and fishing, but his family and friends were what he truly lived for. Kris was an adventurer, poet, craftsman and storyteller. He was always there for the people he loved, and he will be sorely missed.

He was proceeded in death by his sister Kendra West; and his father Virgil Brown. He leaves behind his son, Ryan Brown; his mother, Nancy Brown; his siblings, Kathy and Karl (Lori) Brown; his love and best friend, Elizabeth Barrett; and their four-legged sons, Cisco Kid and Shamus; and many, many relatives and friends. 

A celebration of his life will be held soon; an announcement will be posted.
