Judy Joyce Williams, cherished family

Judy Joyce Williams, 76, formerly of Wilmington and residing at Broadkill Beach, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2022. She was born April 18, 1946.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished, lifelong friend. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by family and friends. She was known for her care and attention to friends and family, always interested in how everyone was doing. She was intensely curious about the world around her. She showed us how to be good parents and friends, giving lots of love and support, and no judgment. Despite deep loss, she said hers was a wonderful life.

Judy was predeceased by her husband Robert Williams Sr.; her son Rob; and daughter Becky. She is survived by her brother, David Silveira and wife Marilyn; and sister, Tina McKenty and husband Dan. She is also survived by her son, Jason Williams, wife Alison Carson, and their sons Ian and Tye; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Poplos, her and Rob’s sons Matt and Jake, and Sandy’s husband Gary Poplos. She had four great-grandchildren; and will be missed by her nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

We will be gathering together to share our memories and thanksgiving for Judy from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, at Bellevue Hall, 901 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington.
