Marguerite Kolp Wynn, loved by many

Marguerite (Marge) Kolp Wynn, 93, of Millsboro, departed this life peacefully Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, at her son William’s home in Seaford.

Marguerite was born Oct. 23, 1929, in Royersford, Pa., to the late William Earl Kolp and Laura Yeager Kolp. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a special friend to many. She will be dearly missed by all.

Marguerite enjoyed spending time with family and friends while residing in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida. During her earlier years, she lived an active family life enjoying summers at Delaware beaches, boating, snowmobiling during Pennsylvania winters and camping. During her later years, she enjoyed sharing memories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many friendships through numerous Red Hat Society activities.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse P. Wynn; her son, Robert E. Wynn; and daughter, Deborah A. Soles. She is survived by her son, William A. Wynn (Melanie); her daughter-in-law, Patricia Wynn; and her son-in-law, Wayne Soles. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Gregory Wynn (Sheryl), Jeffrey Wynn (Elizabeth), Bradley Soles (Maureen), Rebecca Hikins (Ryan), Kristyn Soles (Marc), Courtney Twilley (Jay) and Elise Edmonson (Tim); and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Marguerite will be held at a later date.
