Robert Edward Farkas, loving son, brother
Robert (Bobby) Edward Farkas, 42, of Wyoming, suffered a medical emergency Friday, July 1, 2022, and succumbed to his injuries and passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Christiana Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1980, in Milford, to Anita Molnar and the late Paul George Farkas Sr.
Robert attended Caesar Rodney High School, and later he started as a laborer and handyman for several small businesses around Kent County for many years. Robert also worked one summer season at the Bottle & Cork before starting his own contracting business, REF Construction, in 2008. Then he formed KPP (Kent Paint & Property LLC) Property Maintenance and Renovation Construction in 2019. He always enjoyed meeting new clientele thru the numerous projects located throughout the state especially in and around the Lewes and Rehoboth Beach area.
He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, motorcycles and ATVs. He was an avid fisherman with an affection for all animals, big and small. He loved spending his time with family and friends, especially his mom.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Alexander Phillip Farkas.
Robert is survived by his mother, Anita M. Farkas; and his brother, Paul G. Farkas Jr.
Funeral services were privately held Wednesday, Aug.17, at Torbert Funeral Chapel in Dover. Interment was held at Mount Olive Cemetery.
