Project Kudos Powered by Schell Brothers Foundation is collaborating with Bayhealth this month.
Community members can show appreciation and gratitude for Bayhealth heroes, local partners and those around them via social media, tagging #projectkudospoweredbyschellbrothers on Facebook or Instagram.
For each kudo Bayhealth receives through Tuesday, Feb. 28, Schell Brothers will donate $1 to Bayhealth.
Money raised from the campaign will support purchasing medical equipment for Bayhealth Total Care, a new facility of more than 48,000 square feet located at the intersection of Lewes-Georgetown Highway and Hudson Road near Milton. The first-of-its-kind healthcare facility is expected to open this spring.
“Project Kudos is a program by Schell Brothers Foundation focused on giving kudos, spreading good vibes and supporting the local community. We are happy to partner with Bayhealth for the month of February,” said Adelina Riddick, Schell Brothers marketing specialist.
Bayhealth Total Care will offer onsite lab and imaging as well as primary care and specialty care physicians.
“We are thrilled to be the first in the state to bring this type of emergency and walk-in care to Delaware. The hybrid emergency and walk-in care center will take the guesswork out of where to go in an emergency. We believe this will lead to timely intervention, enabling a rapidly growing population in Sussex County to receive compassionate care that meets their expectations close to home,” said Terry Murphy, FACHE, Bayhealth president and CEO.
