Semi Final Results from February 19, 2023

Elementary Division

The #1 seed, Belmont, defeated Coker by a final of 2-0. Bryn DiStefano scored the winning goal late in the first half on a breakaway. Madelyn Harrington clinched the game with her goal early in the second half.

In the other semi- final, Queens upset the #2 Seed, Mt-Olive, when Madison Pratt scored at 5:15 remaining in the opening half.

In the older division the #1 seed, McDaniel played the #4 seed, Swarthmore to av 2-2 result to end the regulation game. Olivia Balback had both goals for McDaniel while Presley Bebout had the goals for Swarthmore. In the shootout Swarthmore was able to get the winning goal on the final attempt.

In the second game, F&M had a big first half behind Michaela Furman’s three goals. Macy Wheatley had opened the scoring for the Salisbury team but after that is was all F&M. Harper Serman got a late second half goal to finish out the game with a 4-1 win for F&M.

Belmont (blue) will face Queens (white) at 12:30 for the elementary division championship while

Swarthmore (blue) will face F&M (white) at 1:00 in the middle division championship. Both games will be played in the gym of Mariner Middle

School.
