Girls’ lacrosse Easter Egg Hunt celebrates 15 years

The Cape girls’ lacrosse players hosted Atlantic Lacrosse members for their annual Easter Egg Hunt, held April 6 for the 15th year in a row. The late-afternoon weather was a turf toe and hot foot scorcher. After the kindergarten through fifth-grade athletes hunted down eggs, there was little energy left for the long-toss competition and taking a few runs at varsity goalie Mikaylah Lindsay, who was wearing a helmet over her yellow wig.
Four of the young players will dress and warm up, and be introduced for Youth Night prior to the Friday, April 28 game against Smyrna.
