Builders Supply of Delmarva organizes winter coat collection
During the winter, team members from Builders Supply of Delmarva organized a coat drive out of the Rehoboth showroom to provide winter gear for The Shepherd’s Office in Georgetown.
The Shepherd’s Office’s mission is to provide food and clothing for the homeless, hungry or lonely. Director Jim Martin said, “By improving the lives of the most needy among us and helping them to become self-reliant, we improve the lives of everyone.”
BSD is a family-owned and -operated, full-service building supply, design and installation company offering a distinctive purchasing experience for homeowners, custom home builders, contractors, architects and designers on Delmarva. BSD offers a variety of products including windows, doors, trim, siding, cabinetry, stairs, decking, railing and hurricane shutters.
BSD team members are proud to have collected more than 150 coats this winter and would like to thank the community for their generosity.
Tara Rhodes said she and her husband Ethan are proud of the team for giving back to the community. She plans to lead a school supply drive in August and a food drive in October.
