Events This Weekend in Delaware and Maryland
Happy July 4th Weekend everyone!
Always one of the most exciting weekends annually at the Delaware and Maryland beaches, we certainly have a lot to tell you about today highlighted, of course, by a wide selection of fireworks displays and holiday events.
With so much going on over the next few days, let's just jump right into it!
Here's where you can celebrate America's Independence Day, as well as attend other regional events, between now and Tuesday, July 4.

Regional Fireworks Displays (July 2-4)
With Independence Day being next Tuesday, we begin this week's events blog with a full rundown of where you can see some of the best fireworks displays in the region.
We'll be going into greater detail below on some of the area's July 4th events, but we're leading right now with a rundown of where you can see fireworks over the next few days. Rehoboth Beach kicks things off on Sunday, with most other events taking place on Tuesday.
Please note that Bethany Beach's fireworks display has been postponed until Labor Day Weekend (more on this below).

Bethany Beach 4th of July Celebration (July 4)
Though the annual fireworks display in Bethany Beach has been rescheduled for Labor Day Weekend due to continuing beach replenishment efforts in the "Quiet Resort," there's still a full slate of events planned for Independence Day 2023 throughout town.
The Tuesday holiday is headlined by an always fun and eventful parade through the resort that begins at noon and features floats, marchers, clowns, and a sea of bicycles adorned with red, white, and blue decorations.
There will also be a full weekend of bandstand events in downtown Bethany Beach as part of the 4th of July festivities.

Bring Mayberry Back to Milton (July 4)
This annual event in downtown Milton is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, and features a lot of fun activities for all members of the family.
Slated for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Milton Memorial Park, planned activities include a bike decorating contest and parade, a water balloon fight, sack races, old-fashioned games, a photo booth, and much more.
This is a free festival for all members of the public. It's presented and organized by the Milton Chamber of Commerce along with Irish Eyes Restaurant.

Old Fashioned 4th of July (July 4)
The town of Lewes has a full day of activities planned for Independence Day 2023 in areas throughout the resort's downtown area.
Highlights of the day include kid's games on historic Second Street (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.), a special boat parade along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal (1:30 to 3:30 p.m.), and the always unpredictable Doo-Dah Parade (5 p.m.).
The holiday ends with fireworks launched from a barge off Savannah Road at dusk.
