Tidemark Federal Credit Union will hold a community appreciation day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, at its Seaford branch, 1941 Bridgeville Highway, Seaford. Free and open to the public, it is a rain-or-shine event.
The event is Tidemark's way of expressing gratitude to community members for their unwavering support and will also serve as a fundraiser for the Tidemark Federal Credit Union Foundation. The charitable foundation is committed to assisting disadvantaged children and families in the communities Tidemark serves. Representatives will be distributing hygiene products to students to ensure they start the new academic year on the right foot.
As a family-friendly event, the community appreciation day will be full of exciting activities. Attendees can look forward to face painting, a balloon artist, bounce house, basketball, dunk tank, cash grab machine, pony rides, live music and more. Also on site will be Kona's Shaved Ice, Grass Roots Animals Rescue, Delaware State Police, Seaford Fire Department and more than 25 local vendors.
To cater to adult attendees, the Alcohauler Traveling Bar will be serving a variety of drink options ensuring a refreshing experience throughout the day.
