CAMP Rehoboth hosts SunFestival 2023

Labor Day wouldn’t be complete without the CAMP Rehoboth SunFestival.

The 2023 edition didn’t disappoint, as Rehoboth Beach Convention Center was shaking with laughter Sept. 2, with the shenanigans of drag queens Dixie Longate and Randy Roberts, and a live auction.

Then Sept. 3, the convention center was transformed into the ultimate dance party to close out summer. It was rocking to the pulse-pumping music of nationally known DJs Robbie Leslie and Joe Gauthreaux.

“It was a sold-out weekend of great entertainment and music with over 2,000 attendees from as far away as California,” said SunFestival Co-Chair Mike Deflavia. “This is a destination event.”

“We are thankful to all of our sponsors and supporters who continue to help the mission of an inclusive community for all sexual orientations and gender identities,” said Co-Chair Lewis Dawley.    

SunFestival weekend is the biggest fundraiser of the year for CAMP Rehoboth.
