DSP 100th Anniversary 5K set Sept. 23 in Dewey Beach

The Delaware State Police 100th Anniversary 5K Run/Walk is set for 9 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, at The Starboard in Dewey Beach.

This exciting community event promises a memorable experience for runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. Whether participants are seasoned athletes looking to set a personal record or simply want to enjoy a morning of fun and fitness with friends and family, the Delaware State Police 100th Anniversary 5K has something for everyone. The event intends to bring the community together for a day of fitness, camaraderie and continued celebration of the Delaware State Police’s centennial anniversary.

The cost for pre-registered runners is $30 and $35 for day-of runners. Proceeds will benefit Camp Barnes. 

Awards will be given to the top overall finishers and top runners in age groups. Custom T-shirts will be provided to a limited number of registrants. Runners may also enjoy post-race festivities at The Starboard.
