Walter J. Kupchinski, 92, also known as "Pop" and "Wally,” passed away peacefully at his home in Lewes Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, with his family and beloved pets by his side. He was born Monday, July 6, 1931, in Shenandoah, Pa., son of the late Luke Kupchinski and Nellie (Radishki) Kupchinski.

In his younger years, he enjoyed playing the trombone and the saxophone, and when he relaxed, word search was his favorite thing to do.
Walter was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joann Andruzzi Kupchinski; and his great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Elijah Rivera Kupchinski.
He is survived by his sons, Walter J. Andruzzi (Cindy), Joe Kupchinski (Karen), Michael Kupchinski (Candy) and John Kupchinski (Theresa) with whom he lived for 15 years; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; his nine great-grandchildren; and his faithful beloved Brutus.
