The Milford girls’ basketball team scored the first two points of the game, but then it was all Cape the rest of the way, as the Vikings ran to a 52-13 victory Jan. 11 over the Bucs.
The Vikings substituted freely throughout the game, with the reserves scoring 13 points, grabbing eight rebounds and collecting five steals.
Vikings sophomore Amalia Fruchtman was dominant in the paint, scoring 16 points, five rebounds and three blocks. Mya Maull, Faith Re and Lulu Rishko each tallied seven points.
“I’m having fun,” said Rishko. “I’m building confidence, and that’s going to help me down the stretch.”
Junior Hayden Hudson continues to be a force down low, as she snagged eight rebounds and recorded four assists.
The Vikings took a 37-5 lead into the halftime break, then put up a 15-8 second half to secure their fourth win.
Cape travels to Sussex Tech Tuesday, Jan. 16, to take on the Ravens.
