Jewelry-making classes continue at Heidi Lowe Gallery Jan. 25
Heidi Lowe Gallery invites community members to start the new year with intention and fun by learning to make their own silver jewelry piece.
Classes are fun to do with friends or family. Offerings include stacker rings and intention necklace with a stone.
Students will discover and practice various metalworking techniques to learn how to make a wearable piece of personalized silver jewelry from start to finish in one session of about 2 1/2 hours.
“It is a perfect way to spend an evening learning something new, work with your hands and bring people together,” said Heidi Lowe, gallery owner.
During the intention necklace with a stone class, each student will look inward to come up with a word of intention that embodies what they want to cultivate and focus on for life in the new year. The word of intention will be incorporated into a pendant with a faceted stone setting. In the stacker rings class, students using various silver wires will make three different rings that can be worn separately or as a stack.
Beginners are welcome, and materials are included in the class price. Everyone will leave class with a finished, handmade piece of jewelry.
Classes take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Thursdays. Students may choose individual sessions on the following dates: Jan. 25, intention necklace with a stone; Feb. 1, rings of intention; or Feb. 8, stacker rings.
Heidi Lowe Gallery also offers private group classes. Email the studio for details and scheduling. To register and for more information, go to heidilowegallery.com, email hello@heidilowegallery.com or call 302-227-9203.
