Local writer issues new release of Delaware murder mystery
In anticipation of a sequel to be released later this year, local author Crystal Heidel has released a new edition of “Still Life in Blood,” an award-winning murder mystery that takes place in Lewes, Rehoboth and Dewey Beach.
The book is about Francesca, an artist in Rehoboth Beach who has secret psychic abilities. When she has a vision of a murder that actually comes true, she must discover who the murderer is, the deeper meaning behind the murder and how this all connects to her.
“Revisiting my characters, editing and cleaning up the original manuscript has been an amazing adventure,” said Heidel, owner of Byzantium Sky Press.
The 2024 release includes a new cover, updated interior with bonus material, a bonus epilogue, and the first chapter of “Still Life in Ice,” the sequel.
