‘Murder on the Orient Express’ to open May 31 at Sussex Central
The Take Two Drama Club will present “Murder on the Orient Express,” Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1, at the Premier Center for the Performing Arts at Sussex Central High School.
“Adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig, the play is a sly and inventive adaptation of the Agatha Christie mystery classic,” said David Warick, Take Two Drama Club advisor and teacher. “Junior Spencer Camlin expertly portrays the finicky but brilliant Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot, to maximum comic effect. I can't wait for audiences to see him."
Evening showtimes are 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, with a matinee at 3 p.m., Saturday, directly after Sussex Central's rescheduled graduation exercises. Tickets are $12 (plus a processing fee) and are available online at our.show/glev1a9yg1.
Online payment is preferred, and Take Two offers a discount for online purchases. Tickets will also be available at the door for $15 each. However, no one will be turned away for inability to pay. Concessions and drinks will be available at separate cost.
“These students are some of the best performers in the school, and I am eagerly anticipating the community discovering them,” said Warick.
Take Two Drama Club is an independent nonprofit club and drama boosters organization that supports production of plays and musicals for Sussex Central High School students and surrounding communities.
