American Girl Club tea events set June 20, 24
The American Girl Club will host doll’s tea events with Felicity and Caroline at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 20, at Rehoboth Beach Public Library, and at 4:30 p.m., Monday, June 24, in the Lewistown Coffeehouse at the Lewes Historical Society. Free registration through the library website is required for both events. Guests must be ages 7 and above.
Guests can bring a doll to the June 20 event to take part in a play tea and etiquette lesson. Historical reenactors will be on hand to demonstrate what it was like to attend a tea party in Colonial times.
For the June 24 event, guests can don elegant attire and enjoy a tea experience provided by the Lewes Historical Society. Participants do not need to own a doll to attend. To register, go to rehoboth.lib.de.us or call 302-227-8044.
The American Girl Club meets once a month at Rehoboth Beach Public Library. Attendees enjoy snacks, a special activity, and free play with dolls from the American Girl historical collection. Each month focuses on different characters from the series.
