Rehoboth Beach volunteers tend Verrazzano garden

Volunteers from Rehoboth in Bloom and the UNICO Rehoboth Area Chapter recently took their first crack at cleaning up the Verrazzano Monument garden at Olive Avenue and the Boardwalk.

A crew of 12 people filled 13 lawn and leaf brown bags to the brim. Invasive vines, grasses and thistle turned out to be the biggest prizes.
