Garden Club of Millsboro ready to welcome new members

August 1, 2024

Formed in 2007 by a small group of women with different backgrounds and different levels of gardening expertise, the Garden Club of Millsboro supports the beautification of the town.

Members maintain and add seasonal flowers and greens in 44 planters and four gardens throughout Millsboro.

The club is open to those who enjoy being outdoors and connecting with nature, and love to garden or are interested in learning how. Meetings are held at 10 a.m., the second Friday of most months at Millsboro Public Library.

Benefits of joining include sharing information and ideas with other gardeners, enjoying programs on garden-related topics at meetings and workshops, and meeting new friends and gardeners. Various social events have included visits to Brittingham Farms in Millsboro, Story Hill Farm in Frankford and Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa.
