Lefty's Alley & Eats held its first Back-to-School Bash Aug. 18, in the parking lot at 36450 Plaza Blvd. in Lewes. The event, which was free to the public, provided free school supplies to help ensure students arrive ready to learn in the new academic year.
Family activities included a bounce house, creative face painting, several interactive workshops and educational booths. Live music was performed by 13-year-old DJ Sizzlin’ September, adding a youthfully festive atmosphere.
“We are committed to supporting our community through events that provide both fun and educational value,” said Aleya Tingle, marketing director at Lefty's Alley & Eats. “Our back-to-school bash is an excellent opportunity for families to engage with local resources, enjoy a variety of activities and prepare for a successful school year.”
