Eagerly awaiting anti-trafficking report

September 13, 2024

In December, there is supposed to be a report out to the Delaware Anti-Trafficking Action Council of how many calls were received since the posters with a hotline number were distributed to restaurants, bars and other facilities to be posted in restrooms or other areas. I have been participating in the Zoom call meetings and am looking forward to this information.

Did you know that Delaware is listed in the top 10 states for child trafficking? Small-state Delaware? Just type in a search on “which U.S. states have the highest rates of child trafficking?” It’s on worldpopulationreview.com under crimes.

I can believe California and Texas since they are border states, but small-state Delaware in the top 10? Do you think we need some changes in our state?
