Team N.K.S. Distributors takes DRA bocce cup
The Delaware Restaurant Association Beer & Bocce Tournament 2024 trophy was awarded to Team N.K.S. Distributors Sept. 17 at DE Turf Sports Complex in Milford.
A field of 22 competing member restaurant and service teams was whittled down to a final 12 in the winners bracket, with a final matchup between Team N.K.S. Distributors and Team Ashby Hospitality Group. The N.K.S. Distributors squad came out on top and will bring the trophy to its alcohol distribution headquarters to display until next year's tournament. A $1,000 charitable donation will be made in the winning team’s name to the Cape Henlopen Boys’ Lacrosse Boosters Scholarship Fund, in memory of Cape Henlopen students Elijah Ghabour and Ryan Andrew.

It's a great day that our restaurant members look forward to every year,” said Carrie Leishman, Delaware Restaurant Association president and CEO.
