Children’s coats distribution set at Lewes library Oct. 26, Nov. 2
The Lewes Public Library will offer free winter coats for children in partnership with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit manufacturer of brand-new, high-quality coats.
Coats will be available at the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 2, at 111 Adams Ave., Lewes, while supplies last. No appointment is necessary. Sizes range from 4T through youth 14/16, and coats come in a variety of colors.
“The Lewes Public Library is dedicated to providing essential services and resources to our community,” said Emily Ellinger, teen services librarian. “We are excited to get these new, high-quality children’s items into the hands of those who need them.”
Operation Warm is a 501c3 nonprofit that manufactures coats and shoes for children in need. It partners with compassionate individuals, community organizations and corporations across North America to provide emotional warmth, confidence to socialize and succeed, and hope of a brighter future by using the gift as a catalyst for community connection.
