Daytime repaving of Rehoboth Ave. begins Nov. 18

Daytime repaving of Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach will begin Monday, Nov. 18, and continue through mid December. Operations will shut down the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and resume after the city’s Christmas parade scheduled for Monday, Dec. 2. Overnight milling and paving has been occurring since Nov. 6.

Parking and lane closures will occur along Rehoboth Avenue during daytime hours, but at no point will parking be restricted on both sides of a block. For example, if storefront parking on a block is closed, the median parking for that block will remain open to be as least impactive to customer parking as possible. 

Motorist are reminded to slow down in work zones and to expect minor delays while in the area.
