Delaware Transit ranks among Best Workplaces for Commuters

Delaware Transit Corporation has been recognized as one of the Best Workplaces for Commuters for 2025, joining a group of more thab 800 innovative organizations across the U.S. and Canada. This honor celebrates DTC's outstanding commuter benefits that help employees save money, reduce stress and create positive change in their communities.

"At DTC, we believe supporting our employees creates ripple effects far beyond our office walls," said John Sisson, DTC CEO. "Our comprehensive commuter benefits program reflects our dedication to our team's well-being and smart business practices that benefit everyone."

DTC's commuter benefits program includes hybrid work policy, employee transit pass, electric vehicle charging stations and bicycle racks.

To qualify, DTC met the national standard of excellence in commuter benefits, showcasing forward-thinking workplace innovations.

The BWC designation highlights DTC's commitment to: enhancing employee work-life balance through flexible commuting options, creating positive community impact through smart transportation choices, attracting and keeping top talent through comprehensive mobility benefits, and optimizing facility costs through efficient transportation solutions.

Best Workplaces for Commuters is managed by the Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida with support from the Florida Department of Transportation.
