These past two weeks, Delawarean’s are reaping the results of voting for the party that’s lost its way and lost its collective mind.
I was robbed last week, and so were you!
Unfortunately our Christian Grace accounts are set to auto-pay with Delmarva Power, so imagine my surprise when $1,704 was deducted from our checking account for a property that’s averaged $450, and never saw a bill over $525. Many of you with an average bill of $300 saw last your bill top $750, and the number of people with their first four figure bills is equal to the number of people that averaged $400!
Yes. We knew this cycle would be a little higher with 36 days; yes we knew that it’s been cold recently, but certainly not the coldest it has ever been; and yes we knew a rate hike was coming; but a rate increase is normally measured in % points, from a few to maybe 10%, perhaps under horrific circumstances 20%, but triple?
Yes we have all been robbed, and since I chose to use “auto pay,” this time I also feel …(violated?)
What are we going to do about it?
This is outrageous and unsustainable.
The consensus is that skyrocketing costs are the result of green new nonsense; closing plants, and government mandates from the last admin…… but our state is still governed by some of these delusional and /or corrupt nuts.
Now additonal legislation is about to pass that will help some, and not others with money from recently killed longer term green deal funds, but it amounts to more unfair redistribution of money in politically expedient ways. How about simply refunding every account by the amount beyond the average they’d been paying, both businesses and individuals?
This needs to stop.
You need to stop voting for the same people who employed a guy to handle our nuclear secrets who wears dresses that he steals from peoples’ luggage; and another guy in a dress commanding our navy; and the party that’s claimed half the alphabet because they’re so proud of the way they like to have sex that they hold a parade for themselves.
Yep, the same folks who sent $10 million to Mozambique to promote adult circumcision. Here’s the $10 million study.
