Virginia Alice Glaum Soule, beloved mother, grandmother
Virginia “Ginny” Alice Glaum Soule, 87, of Lancaster, Pa., passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was born March 3, 1938, a daughter of the late George Glaum and Virginia Funk, and was the wife of the late Robert Leroy Soule Sr. Ginny enjoyed being with her family, traveling with her husband, and sitting on the beach. While she and her husband enjoyed watching shows of singing and dancing, they also loved to perform shows of their own for the elderly. Every Monday, you could find Ginny playing Pokeno or Mexican Train. She found it easy to make friends in Lancaster and enjoyed residing here.
Ginny is survived by her three children, Robert Leroy Soule Jr. (Theresa), Stacey Cremonni (Matthew) and Brian “Critter” Keith Soule (Melissa); her grandchildren, Steven Matthew Soule (Candice), Matthew Robert Cremonni (Tiffany), Michael Joseph Cremonni and Mackenzie Briana Soule; her great-grandchildren, Matthew P. Cremonni, Vivian Soule, Lillian Cremonni, Brielle Soule and Ryder Dean; and her sister, Alyse “Peachie” Funk.
Ginny is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leroy Soule Sr.; her parents, George Glaum and Virginia Funk; and her two brothers, George Glaum Jr. and Wayne Funk.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Virginia will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 31, at Burgess Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m.
