KSI honors Dedra Norwood as Outstanding Staff Employee of the Year

Kent-Sussex Industries, Inc. honored Dedra Norwood of Bridgeville as Outstanding Staff Employee of the Year 2011, with its Clifford T. Crouch Excellence In Service Award during KSI’s 50th annual Awards Dinner at the Sheraton Dover Hotel.

As Norwood accepted her award from KSI CEO B. Craig Crouch, she said, “I really enjoy helping people. Not only have I helped others grow, but they’ve helped me too. I’ve learned so much from everyone at KSI. We can get so much done by treating each other with dignity and respect.”

Norwood was presented a plaque from KSI, a State of Delaware Senate Tribute, sponsored by Sen. Gary Simpson, and a State of Delaware House of Representatives Tribute, co-sponsored by representatives Harvey Kenton and Jack Peterman.

Celebrating its 50th-year anniversary, KSI is a nonprofit organization providing employment opportunities to individuals with disabilities in Kent and Sussex Counties.
