Autism Delaware will host its annual Blue Jean Ball from 7 to 11 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, in the Grand Cru Hall at Nassau Valley Vineyards in Lewes.  A favorite event in southern Delaware, the ball's dress code is blue jeans and bling.

Admission is $85 per person and includes hors d’oeuvres, open bar and a performance by Delaware’s own Love Seed Mama Jump. The evening’s festivities include an extensive silent auction featuring gift certificates from local restaurants, jewelry and memorabilia.

“Attendance at the event,” said Dorian Rowe Kleinstuber, longtime event cochair, “along with any purchases you make, will help fund Autism Delaware’s much-needed statewide programming. Autism Delaware’s mission is to create better lives for people with autism and their families in Delaware.”

“Autism Delaware provides informational and referral services,” said event cochair Koh Morrisey, “parent mentoring and support programs, such as summer day camp, junior golf, and the summer swim program, and nationally recognized adult services.
