Cadbury hires Yvonne Weeks as assisted living manager

Cadbury at Lewes has announced the hiring of Yvonne Weeks to the position of assisted living manager effective May 6.  Weeks received her registered nurse certification from the Beebe School of Nursing and is licensed in staff development in long-term care.

Weeks' experience includes work as a nurse practice educator/infection control and nursing supervisor at Naamans Creek Country Manor, Boothwyn, Pa., as well as industrial nurse/technology coordinator at Delaware County Technical High School in Aston, Pa.

In this role, she will report to the director of Nursing. Her responsibilities include overseeing the efficient operation of The Tides and Safe Harbor Assisted Living within Cadbury at Lewes. The Tides offers residents compassionate care and enriched activities in one- or two-bedroom apartments.

Residents in Safe Harbor enjoy the benefits of specialized care in a home-like environment in a suite style setting. Weeks will also oversee the Wellness Center providing services by certified nursing assistants or licensed nurses to residents who may need assistance on a one-time or ongoing basis.
