Author Donald Miller to sign books at Browseabout July 12
Acclaimed author, historian, and PBS documentarian Donald L. Miller will be at Browseabout Books July 12 to sign copies of his latest release, "Supreme City: How Jazz Age Manhattan Gave Birth to Modern America."
Chronicling the era immortalized by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Miller reveals how revolutionary developments in technology, architecture, the arts, sports, communications, engineering, transportation, entertainment, retail, fashion, and more merged with the unbounded ambitions of a diverse group of out-of-towners to shape the contours of 20th century America. "Supreme City" brilliantly evokes all the exhilaration, glamour, and significance of one of the most creative and consequential moments in American cultural history.
The signing will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, July 12, at Browseabout Books, 133 Rehoboth Ave. For more information, visit browseaboutbooks.com or call 302-226-2665.
