Andrew Ryan Logan, FedEx contractor
Andrew Ryan Logan, 25, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.
He was born in Lewes, Oct. 19, 1989, to Kenneth “Satch” H. Logan and Maureen Drain Logan, who survive him.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James W. Drain; paternal grandparents, Harry C. Logan Sr. and Jewel F. Logan; an aunt Brenda J. Logan; and a cousin, Steven Logan.
He was a contractor who drove for FedEx and delivery and deck boss for Logan Family Seafood. Andrew was a 2008 graduate of Sussex Central High School and a 2012 graduate of Delaware Tech. He loved deep sea fishing, traveling and loved children. He had a heart of gold and a great laugh. He was loving, giving, affectionate, liberal minded, generous caring person, and a friend to all. Andrew traveled overseas and visited many different countries and learned their cultures. He had a great laugh and everyone who met him liked him.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his second father, Douglas Hitchens of Georgetown; his stepmother, Michele Logan of Lewes; maternal grandmother, Marie T. Drain; stepgrandparents Sandy “Nana” Lee, Jim and Susan Lee; three brothers, Nicholas P. Logan and his wife Ronda of Georgetown, Michael Krutz and his fiancée Caitlin Fitzpatrick of New Castle, and Andrew Krutz and his companion Brittney Diggins of New Castle; a sister, Melanie Krutz and her companion Andrew Pigeon of Pike Creek; three nieces, Izzabell M. Atkins Logan, Eve Logan and Kayleigh Krutz; two nephews, Shaun Krutz and Micah J. Logan; and a longtime friend Adrion Williams, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Andrew’s memory to the Georgetown Vol. Fire Co., P.O. Box 77, Georgetown, DE 19947.
