Coastal Camera Club readies for Photo Beach Bash March 21

The Coastal Camera Club has announced speakers and their programs for Photo Beach Bash 2015, set for Saturday, March 21, at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center in Rehoboth Beach.

Award-winning photographer Karen Messick will present Impressionism in Photography. Messick will share images using various camera techniques and the latest software processes for creating striking impressionistic photographic images and art forms.

Tony Sweet's Compelling Composition program will use numerous examples to illustrate various compositional techniques guaranteed to begin moving attendees' photography up a notch.

A photographer specializing in nature and travel photography, Corey Hilz's Creative Vision at Home and Around the World program will explore creative composition techniques and subject selection, along with consideration of timing, preparation, opportunity and patience.

Canon Explorer of Light and keynote speaker Parish Kohanim will discuss the importance of proper composition, unconventional lighting, techniques for creating dynamic visual impact and getting the most naturally posed portraits. He will share simple and fresh techniques and tips on how to make one's pictures stand out from the crowd.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. for a full day of photography programs, demonstrations, photo exhibits and more. Attendees can register at www.photobeachbash.com under the eventbrite tab. Tickets are $25.
