Catherine Barber joins Family Practice Center as nurse practitioner in Lewes
The Family Practice Center welcomes Catherine A. Barber MSN, FNP-BC as a new nurse practitioner. She has been a resident of the Cape Region for 15 years.
Having completed her graduate work through Wilmington University, Barber joins the practice with 24 years of nursing experience with a focus on women's health. She has now expanded her interests toward facilitating the health and well-being of the entire family. This includes caring for all patients throughout the entire spectrum of their lives.
She is particularly interested in improving patient's health by focusing on diet, exercise and stress management. She feels simple corrections can have a positive impact on the body's ability to self-correct. When added to necessary pharmaceutical management, health is improved. Barber believes that living a healthy life is more important than just living a long life.
