Summer League Week Six, July 22, 2015
Elementary Division
The elementary division all-star games were played on Monday, July 20, 2015 under sunny skies after a brief storm passed through the Lewes area. In the first game the Gold and Blue played to a 0-0 result with lots of back and forth action on the turf at Champions Stadium. Goal keeping by Meredith Carey and Bella Myers kept the goal line un-crossed in the game.
Gold Roster: Madeline Pepper, Grace Wiggins, Emily Wells, Leighton, Swope, Anna Crenshaw, Emmalyn Swope, Puji Jani, Riya Jani, and Melanie McKean.
Blue Roster: Kiarah Dacheux, Madi Short, Baylie Williamson, Regan Best, Avary Miller, Macy Steinwedel, Atia Sabbagh, Aubrie Myers and Rylie Myers.
In the second all-star game, Violet defeated Green by a final of 1-0. Rachel Carey scored the goal late in the opening half of the game. From that point on, the goalkeeping by Ellie Cerchio and Meredith Carey kept the offenses at bay.
Violet Roster: Hannah Maney, Kathryn Wyshock, Cadance McMahon, Emma Moore, Emma Duffield, Olivia Duffield, Rachel Carey, Ally Diehl, and Peyton Moore.
Green Roster: Grace Hudson, Carrie Clausius, Courtney Bayley, Neely Burris, Madi Long, and Hayden Hudson.

Senior Division Championship Game: Hera vs Aphrodith
Aphrodith did the rare trick during the season and defeated Hera for the third time this summer by a final of 3-1 to earn the gold medal in the championship game. Brittany Betts got the lead for Aphrodith with her goal at 19:56 of the opening half after Lola Messick had given Hera the early lead with a goal at 22:58. Jazmyne Marino then score what became the winning goal with her effort at 14:45, still in the first half. The second half was dominated by Hera’s efforts to even the score but strong goal keeping kept them off the scoreboard. Julia Hollenbeck got the insurance goal off an assist by Kelly Smith at 12:18 to ice the win.
Hera Roster: Erin Cannon, Erin Carey, Mia Carulli, Kaleigh Cordrey, Rylie Cordrey, Carly Dmitherchik, Abi Kane, Erin Kay, Darby Klopp, Riley Klopp, Lola Messick, Sydney Smyk, Anna Steiner, and Lindsay Williams. Missing from the game: Ryleigh Elliott, Jarad Kay, Leah Smyk, Gina Voss and Alexa Woodruff.
Aphrodith Roster: Lacy Bayley, Brittany Betts, Hannah Beiler, Raegan Ciabattoni, Sam Connors, Liliana Fannin, Anna Harrington, Julia Hollenbeck, Vienna Iacona, Marissa LeGates, Maci Long, Jazmyne Marino, Kelly Smith, Amanda Sponaugle, Laci Wierzbicki, and Lisa Williams. Missing from the game: Malori Hughes and Sydney Ostroski.
The goalkeepers in the game were Autumn, Davis and Marlee Geppert.
