Laura Beth Kelly Gallagher, 51, of Wormleysburg, Pa., passed away of complications from MS Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes. She was born May 8, 1964, in Norristown, Pa., daughter of Thomas Kelly and the late Janet Kelly.
Laura grew up in Camp Hill, Pa. with her four brothers and sisters, Thomas Kelly, Regina Sproch, Molly Kelly and Michael Kelly. After graduating from Camp Hill High School and Pennsylvania State University, Laura became a longtime resident and active community member of Lewes. For a time she owned and ran The Bay Moon Bed and Breakfast, where she touched the lives of many with her passion for the beach, talents in the kitchen, and shine for hospitality. Her love of dogs and enthusiasm for volunteer work made her well known in the animal rescue community as well as with the CHEER Center in the area.
In addition to her father, Laura is survived by her husband, Shawn Gallagher; and two children, Andrew and Maya.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m., at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3435 East Trindle Road, Camp Hill, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m. in the church lobby. Interment will be private.
