Bayhealth Welcomes Hematologist Oncologist Vinay Edlukudige Keshava, MD

Bayhealth Hematology/Oncology Associates is proud to welcome hematologist and medical oncologist Vinay Edlukudige Keshava, MD. Dr. Keshava joins a committed and compassionate team of clinicians caring for patients at the Bayhealth Cancer Institute.

Dr. Keshava treats a variety of cancers and diseases of the blood within the Bayhealth Cancer Institute. He comes to Delaware and to Bayhealth from Allegheny Health Network Medical Education Consortium in Pittsburgh, PA where he completed his hematology and oncology fellowship training and was chief fellow.

“Dr. Keshava is an excellent addition to the hematology and medical oncology team here at the Bayhealth Cancer Institute,” said Iftekhar A. Khan, MD, chief, oncology services and medical director, medical oncology at Bayhealth. “He brings a fresh perspective to cancer care and is another trusted partner for our patients and community members facing a cancer diagnosis.”

Dr. Keshava earned his medical degree at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India and completed his internal medicine residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, PA. He is board certified in internal medicine and hematology.

Bayhealth is a member of the Penn Cancer Network and is the only cancer program in Delaware affiliated with a National Cancer Institute–designated Comprehensive Cancer Center.
