Chakra Saturday - The Seventh Chakra, Sahaswara
The 7th Chakra, located at the top of the head, is named Sahaswara, which translates as “thousand petal lotus flower.”
The ancient drawings depict this lotus as the top of the head, connecting us with our soul nature, offering self-realization through clarity of thought.
Meditation practice is most important for achieving the goal of this maha chakra.
Yoga teaches that when we do yoga and meditate to achieve our full potential as a human being, all else will fall into place. This is an ancient teaching, to know who you are.
