It's the ULTIMATE Eco Tour!!

Every Saturday Morning!!

Are you ready for a marine biology adventure? Cruise the waters of the Delaware Bay with the crew of the Discovery and experienced science educators to learn about this important coastal estuary. Participate with us as we explore Delaware Bay waters using a large trawl net to collect bottom dwelling invertebrates and a variety of fish. Volunteers may be asked to assist us in pulling up the net. This is a HANDS ON activity, so come prepared to get your hands a little wet. This cruise is also a great opportunity to take in the sites including the diverse birdlife and waterfowl living along the bays shore. We will cruise past the historical Harbor of Refuge and East End Lighthouses at Cape Henlopen. There is always a very good chance we will see DOLPHIN swimming in the bay-sometimes even right next to our vessel!! Don't miss out on this chance to see and learn about the coastal waters of the Delaware Bay. This is a 2 hour cruise which takes place on most Saturdays throughout the summer at 10 or 10:30am.
