‘Wicked on Ice’ shows set April 11-12

The Bay Country Figure Skating Club will present “Wicked on Ice” at 6 p.m. Friday, April 11, and 1 and 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at the Centre Ice Rink in Harrington. The show features familiar characters and music from all eras of Oz, performed by a cast from tots to national competitors and a few hockey players.

Directed by the centre’s skating director, Jerry Santoferrara, and coach Tom Harrison, the show features 65 local skaters of all ages and levels including Bay County Figure Skating Club members as well as students and coaches from the rink’s skating programs.Special guest skaters are U.S. National competitor Isabella Garland, collegiate competitor Victoria Lingo, and Jecilyn Stanley, who tours with Disney on Ice.

After 20 years of successful shows, “Wicked” will be the last show at Centre Ice, which will be closing permanently in May.
