The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford, friends and family recently celebrated a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration with Dr. Michelle Bretzius, the owner of 302 Family Medicine, at its location at 306 Polk Ave., Milford.
The goal of the female-owned, private family medicine practice is to provide quality, patient-centered primary medical care to the population of Sussex and Kent counties. A patient-centered model emphasizes combined decision-making between patient and physician. Practitioners hope to become part of their patients’ families and provide them with continuity of care as well as a personal touch that may be lacking in other practices. They welcome patients of all genders and walks of life, providing care from birth to end of life including routine vaccinations, minor office procedures and well-woman exams such as Pap tests. It is a full-spectrum practice and its providers manage many common medical conditions including type 2 diabetes, COPD and high blood pressure.
