Actresses to join in Easter Seals Walk With Me Delmarva Oct. 18
Actresses Quinn McColgan and Jillian Lebling, both Delaware residents, will perform at the third annual Easter Seals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore Walk With Me Delmarva event to be held Sunday, Oct. 18, at 3 p.m. at Baywood Greens, 32267 Clubhouse Way, Long Neck.
The actresses and their families have joined together in creating team “Walk on the WILD Side” with a goal of raising $2,000. To donate to their team go to goo.gl/sI3xZQ.
McColgan recently starred in the movie “Extinction,” released in theaters in July 2015, and can also be seen in the upcoming holiday film “Love the Coopers”. She has appeared in HBO’s “Mildred Pierce,”NBC’s “The Blacklist” and CBS’s “Members Only,” to name a few.
Lebling is best known for her performance in the Tony Award-winning Broadway play, “Once,” along with her on screen appearance in CBS’s “The Blacklist.” She is also starring in Disney’s “Bridge of Spies” set to be released this month.
The actresses will share the company of event ambassadors who receive services from Easter Seals in Georgetown; Elvis, aka Bob Lougheed; and singers from Worcester Prep. Frozen Farmer will be on hand with treats and will be donating a portion of each purchase to the walk. There will also be Delaware State Police K-9s and helicopter, face painting and so much more to entertain the entire family.
The event will unite hundreds of Easter Seals families and supporters in lower Delaware and along Maryland’s Eastern Shore to raise funds for Easter Seals services in order to impact the lives of local individuals and families living with disabilities.
