All Saints’ Parish Thrift Shop, located on the Forgotten Mile between Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach at 20673 Coastal Highway, is in the final weeks of its winter clothing clearance, with sales of $5 per bag running through Saturday, Feb. 4. Kitchen bags will be provided at checkout.
Spring and summer clothing sales will launch Wednesday, Feb. 1.
After the holidays, donations to food pantries decrease. To support local food cupboards, All Saints’ Parish Thrift Shop will hold a food drive through Saturday, April 29. Patrons can bring nonperishable food items to donate. Contributions will benefit the Community Resource Center food rescue program, Cape Henlopen Food Basket and Milton Community Food Pantry.
All customers donating food will receive a coupon discounting their shopping purchase the day of their donation. Coupon amounts are based on the number of items donated.
The shop is also looking for volunteers interested in serving as cashiers, greeters or donation processors. Training is provided. Volunteers receive a discount on purchases, and 15 volunteers per month are chosen to donate $500 each to a charity of their choice.
