American Legion Post 28 Oak Orchard/Riverdale teamed up with the Long Neck Sunrise Rotary Club and Warrior Community Connect for its annual Veterans Day ceremony. The event took place in front of the flags raised for the Rotary Club’s Flags for Heroes fundraiser, in which $3,200 was raised for community and educational programs.

The Legion set up a POW/MIA remembrance table, with each piece symbolizing the emotions and sentiments lost.
