Bayhealth brings OB-GYN Reiesha Graham back to Delaware
Bayhealth announced it recently welcomed obstetrician-gynecologist Reiesha Graham, MD, PhD, FACOG, to Bayhealth Women’s Care, Sussex Campus.
A native Delawarean, Graham will serve her community by providing specialized care for women during pregnancy and at all stages of life. She joins Miaohou Xu, MD; Melisa Edler, MD; and Roni Dermo, MD, in the OB-GYN practice.
The practice is part of Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians, their clinical staff, and an administrative support team that operates practices throughout central and southern Delaware.
Graham is available to see adolescents and women of all ages at Bayhealth Women’s Care, Sussex Campus located at 101 Wellness Way, Suite 300 in Milford. Her clinical interests include high-risk and low-intervention obstetrics for expectant mothers, adolescent and teen gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
“Dr. Graham was born and raised in this area, so it’s wonderful that she is bringing her medical expertise back to Delaware to strengthen the health of women in our community,” said Lawrence Ward, MD, MPH, FACP, Bayhealth vice president of physician services and clinical integration. “With her clinical talent and personalized approach, we know she will be a tremendous asset to our team and to patients in our area.”
Graham earned a master of science degree in biological and physical sciences, a doctorate in pharmacology, and a doctorate of medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Before joining Bayhealth, Graham provided OB-GYN care at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center and Chesapeake Women’s Health in Easton, Md. Prior to that, she was an attending physician with Hackensack Meridian Health Medical Group and the Healthy Woman OB-GYN practice in Freehold, N.J., and taught OB-GYN physician residents at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
She is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and holds memberships in the National Medical Association, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Institute of the Advancement of Breastfeeding & Lactation Education.
