July 22, 2023

Bayhealth’s Marketing & Communications healthcare marketing experts were honored with six Aster Awards for outstanding work in 2022, including one gold award, three silvers and two bronzes.

Recognizing talent in healthcare advertising, marketing and communications, the Aster Awards rank among the largest and most respected national and international competitions in the industry.

“Our team thrives on the work we do to create meaningful patient and community connections that engage and inspire those living in central and southern Delaware to take charge of their healthcare needs and select Bayhealth as their health system of choice,” said Amanda Bowie, MSM, interim vice president of marketing and communications. “We also take great joy in honoring and celebrating our healthcare workers and their commitment to our mission.”

A panel of judges selects winners based on creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal and execution. All entries are scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 10% (gold awards scored between 95-99% or top 5% in the nation; silver awards scored between 90-94% or top 12% in the nation; and bronze awards scored between 85-89% or top 16% in the nation).

The Bayhealth Marketing & Communications team received the following awards: gold for community health and wellness email series; silver for Bayhealth Total Care video series; silver for Bayhealth Employee Thank You Campaign Phase III; silver for “Lift Me Up” social media video; bronze for community health and wellness blog; and bronze for Ballin’ for Blood annual event.

“I’m thrilled for our team to receive these well-deserved recognitions,” said Bowie who highlights the team’s ability to deliver collaboratively on creative, innovative and inspiring work. “We’re passionate about what we do, and it’s always as honor to be recognized for the expert level of marketing and communications work we are proud to consistently deliver.”
